The Rationale

For those who recognize me, you may wonder why I am producing a public domain work for WeSeWriMo after finishing Phantalleum-Dual Crossage.

The main reason is that I fall off in another depression after finished it to the point that I cannot write properly and doing other things as escapism. I decided to test myself whether I can get out of this by deliberately waive any control on what I write. If I can still write properly under this condition, that means that I can write and will continue write.

Otherwise, I am considering quitting writing for good after finishing the sequel to Phantalleum-Dual Crossage for NaNoWriMo 2013.

The other reason I'm doing this is because this work is meant as a thought exercise for me and the potential readers and nothing else: What will happen if we allow laws that declare a foreign act illegal which go too far? There are Earth laws that do this, but they are not as extreme as what will be portrayed in this work, yet the danger is theoretically there. By waiving copyright, they might be able to implement the answered directly into my work without any restrictions on how they do it.

My work might be bad, but at least it could be a work that presents a clear answer to that question. Hopefully this will be a stepping stone for me to start writing again.
